Dr. Martin graduated magna cum laude from the Institute of Medical Sciences in Santiago, Cuba and completed his residency at the New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. Dr. Martin specializes in internal medicine, and has over 30 years of experience. He has a special interest in the management of chronic medical diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. His goal is always to provide the highest level of patient care through clear and consistent communication and patient education.

Prior to opening Cephas Medical Center, Dr. Martin practiced at NCH, Internal Medicine Associates in Cape Coral, and Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers as a hospitalist.

Dr. Martin is fluent in English and Spanish.
